My Design Philosophy
Clean design, clear message, convey meaning, & hook the target!!! Every detail is important that is why I spare nothing when looking for the ultimate solution for the project at hand. And as always the customer is always right, well most of the time.
My Design Process
1. Brainstorm The Idea With My Client
Through excellent communication I brainstorm ideas out with the client. Here is the discovery phase where I find out the demographic and research. To me this is the most important part of the design phase.
2. Take The Idea To Paper
Here is where I start to sketch my ideas out onto paper. Doesn't matter if it's for the web, print, or a logo, it all gets drawn first. This is really a rough copy, me spilling ideas on paper.
3. Refine The Idea
Once I get a solid concept down on paper, I flesh it out, and try and fill in as many details as possible. After this point I might let the client in on it before making it digital, sometimes not.
4. Convert to digital
This is where the idea takes life. The concept that was fleshed out on paper is transformed into a digital masterpiece. If it's a website, more goes into this step, because the idea gets taken to photoshop for layout, then dreamweaver for the assembly.
5. Client Approval
After it's converted to digital it's sent to the client for approval. This is the portion where revisions happen, if need be. After revisions and refinement, it's on to the final step.
6. Delivery
Electronic deliverables are sent to the client. If it's a website I can set-up everything on your server or send you all the files ready to get uploaded. Logo's are delivered in illustrator files. Print work gets delivered in what ever format it was created in.
About Bobbysky
So what is there to say about one's self. Well if you want to know about some likes and dislikes check out the bar on the right. So I hail from Spokane, Wa in the great pacific northwest. If you've never been book your plane ticket now, you won't be disappointed.
Whether its metal, paint, or photography I've been out doing my abilities since I started this wild ride. Striving for perfection is what I shoot for, whether it's true or not might be up for debate. None the less, I love creating art, reading about art, and just plain being creative. It's truly a surreal feeling, something that can't be described. But at some point I decided I needed a website to showcase my art. And instead of paying someone to do it, I bought some books and off I went. Five years later I'm still in love with web and graphic design. Almost so much that I have no time for my art. But since they're both creative outlets I'm not complaining much.
